To participate with all team members in meeting strict local, and national and contractual deadlines for assignment of clinical codes using classifications ICD-10 and OPCS4, to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for each patient treated within the trust.
the recruitment process will be in 2 days - 13/08 Assessment via Teams - 2 hours, Theory and Practical and 14/08 Face to face interviews at Hammersmith Coding office.
Main duties of the job
To enhance the accuracy and completeness of the clinical coding work stream through improved sources of information, engaging clinicians, and the Divisions and relevant departments in particular where it impacts on high cost and complex specialised areas where additional expertise is required.

- Academic achievements to a degree level or the equivalent in work experience
- ACC (Accredited clinical coding qualification)
- High degree of knowledge in Anatomy & Physiology
Desirable
- Auditor/Trainer qualifications in Clinical Coding

- Experience in a wide range of specialties & their complexities
- Not less than 3 years generalised clinical coding experience
- Be able to meet the prerequisites of sitting either audit workshop or Train the Trainer Courses
- Experience in Clinical coding terminologies and software encoding experience
