The post holder will be expected to support the implementation of various projects and new initiatives.

In conjunction with the line manager the post holder is responsible for ensuring the performance targets and key performance indicators are achieved and maintained.

The post holder will maintain, monitor and facilitate the delivery of a high-quality service in the most efficient and effective manner within existing constraints and within the parameters set out within the contracting agreement between Bradford District Care Trust and the Bradford Commissioning Bodies.

The post holder will ensure that standards of practice are maintained through the implementation of the quality agenda, CQC standards, nice guidelines, policies and procedures

Main duties of the job

To work closely with the Child and adolescent mental health service leadership and Management team to implement and undertake quality assurance processes which support safe service delivery to children, young people and families.

To develop processes which support continual learning and service improvement in partnership with key organisations where appropriate.

Communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support the ongoing improvement in partnership working across children's services.

To identify areas of risk and service need in order to support the development of services in line with population needs, service demand and national and local priorities

The post holder will be responsible for planning and developing the Quality & Improvement agenda in Children's Services.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree level or equivalent qualification
  • Current professional registration- RMN or Allied health professionals.
  • Evidence of further leadership or management study/or master's qualification


Experience

Essential

  • Previous clinical leadership experience
  • Experience of report writing and strategy development
  • Experience of leading and implementing service change or reconfiguration


Knowledge

Essential

  • Understanding and knowledge of safeguarding children and adults
  • Highly developed knowledge of children's service at district level, including any management and workforce redesign
  • Knowledge of children's community care service provision.
