In recognition of the ever expanding evidence of the part paid employment plays in Mental Health recovery and wellbeing HPFT are expanding the range and volume of employment roles embedded within their Community Mental Health Teams. These roles will be delivering employment support in parallel to the health and wellbeing interventions provided by other team colleagues.
You will work intensively with a defined caseload of Service Users who have a severe and enduring mental health condition which impacts on their ability to gain work. You will assist them to obtain and sustain paid employment that is consistent with their goals, utilising the eight principles of Individual Placement Support (IPS).
Training in the IPS approach and Mental Health Basics will be available to all successful candidates. The new structure offers career progression in this increasingly recognised area of practice and staff development is a priority for all HPFT staff as high quality staff are key to providing outstanding services and the best possible outcomes for our Service Users .
The ideal candidate may have a support work, recruitment, careers advice or personnel background, but may also have a wider business experience, which can be drawn on to achieve positive outcomes.
The role will be based in Ware, East Herts but may require travel to other areas
