The Trust supports agile working and the ability to work from home part of the time can be facilitated alongside flexible start and finish times.

The candidate will work alongside a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Senior Clinical Psychologist and two Assistant Psychologists. Within the AUCD there are also colleagues working in Older Adults Inpatients with further posts available within Crisis Care and Mental Health Liaison.

This post will be supported through regular clinical supervision offered by the Consultant Psychologist & managerial supervision with the Ward Mger. There are opportunities to develop skills in leadership & consultation, as well as nurturing psychological mindedness within the team and embedding psychologically informed ways of working. There is a range of CPD opportunities available to enable you to further develop skills & knowledge in psychological models & team working.

We are seeking a person with an enthusiasm to work within a highly dynamic service offering scope for innovation and creativity. Previous experience of working in an inpatient setting or a considered understanding of the inpatient psychology role is highly advantageous.
