An exciting opportunity for a Senior Practitioner/Pathway Lead to work within the Award winning Birmingham & Solihull Health and Justice Vulnerability Service (previously Liaison and Diversion).
This is a nationally funded service and the post holder will be expected to provide clinical leadership and management for teams within the Community Outreach pathway and provide cross-cover and support as required.
The post holder will need extensive post qualification experience and experience within the Criminal Justice System is also preferable.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include line management, offering clinical expertise, support case management of Outreach caseload, data analysis and reporting and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders throughout the Criminal Justice Pathway.
The successful candidate will provide managerial oversight to the Community Outreach Pathway offering community support and integration, supporting caseload reviews and formulating and supporting packages of support.
The post holder will provide excellent inter agency and liaison skills, and offer specialist clinical advice to the Crown Prosecution Service, Probation, Police and others to assist in making recommendations to the Court.
The post holder will be expected to provide support and cover to other areas within the service including Police Custody, Birmingham Courts, HMP Birmingham and Community settings in order to undertake comprehensive assessments within the wider Health and Justice Vulnerability Service
