Band 6 Community Mental Health Lead Practitioner, Countywide Early intervention service (N-Step) Community Mental Health Team (Monday to Friday).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 0.80 WTE self-motivating and resourceful Community mental health practitioners to join our early intervention for psychosis teams. We are looking for a registered nurses, Occupational therapists , or social workers.
Based at Newland / Campbell House, Northampton.
You will be working with individuals and their families from aged 14 years upwards CAMHS experience will be welcomed.
The post holder will be working in the county localities as a Specialist Community mental health practitioner, you will be at the forefront of shaping the team's service model, working alongside your MDT colleagues to ensure that services provided meet the National access and waiting standards for Early intervention services. This will include cognitive behavioural therapy and Brief family interventions. Also ensuring the services are responsive, flexible, and innovative. You will be involved in evidence-based assessments when requested, and in developing and delivering recovery focused interventions and community groups.
You will maintain Care-Coordinator / keyworker responsibilities for a small case-load of service users with first episode Psychosis, and participate in day to day team duties.
Main duties of the job
Managing a small caseload of service users with first episode psychosis working as an integral part of a multi disciplinary team with a whole team approach.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and assessment skills, be confident in their ability to support service users and their families with Psychosis, and most importantly be a whole team player.
