Due to the increased demand and clinical expansion, we are looking to recruit a new Band 7 IVT ophthalmic injector.

Working as an Ophthalmic Nurse Injector at UHDB, you will have demonstrable and extensive ophthalmic experience, you will be comfortable working independently and you will already be IVT trained.

Where needed, you will be able to travel across site between RDH & FNCH to cover clinics at both sites .

Main duties of the job

  • Performing intravitreal injections to a patients with a range of ophthalmic conditions.
  • Demonstrate highly developed clinical nursing knowledge and skills in administering Intravitreal injections
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner within the Ophthalmology team delivering treatment
  • Manage own caseload within the nurse led injection clinics
