Are you a Paediatric Nurse looking for a new role and want to be trained in a new area? We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, experienced paediatric nurse who is willing to learn new skills to join the paediatric renal team.
Main duties of the job
Theaim of this post is to develop as a renal nurse within the clinical area. The post holder will provide direct care to renal patients under the supervision of senior colleagues whilst acquiring and developing the specialist skills and knowledge to meet the needs of this patient group.
The post holder will have a 6 month induction period within the haemodialysis unit rotating into renal outpatients where training on venepuncture, accessing port-a - caths, transplantation, transition, peritoneal dialysis will be provided. Once trained and experience gained the successful candidate will be expected to support the Haemodialysis on call service and will also have the opportunity to carry out community visit.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
