An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced practitioner to join the Integrated Safeguarding Services. The successful candidate will be engaging with internal governance processes and social care in relation to concerns regarding care provision. There will be a requirement to visit community bases, outpatient areas and inpatient areas .
The post holders will provide efficient, visible and effective adult Safeguarding Services. Ensuring service users and staff have access to, and receive, timely and high quality information, advice and signposting in relation to safeguarding concerns.

Main duties of the job
The posts includes liaising with front line staff to receive, manage and respond to safeguarding concerns regarding care provision in line with Trust policy and procedures, recognised best practice and legal frameworks. Working closely with staff and managers to address any safeguarding concerns in a timely and efficient way to achieve the best possible outcome.
Central to the roles is ensuring effective communication between health care, statutory and voluntary services, and ensuring that safeguarding is made personal for the adults involved.

- Engage with governance processes and social care in relation to concerns regarding care provision
- Participate in LADO/Pipot processes and liaise with H.R teams to consider transferable risk in the case of allegations being made about staff members
- Plan and provide supervision, support, training and advice and act as a source of specialist knowledge in matters relating to safeguarding adults including organisational concerns.
- Develop partnership working with statutory and voluntary organisations to aid communication and provide better outcomes for adults and families.
- Ensure robust communication takes place minimising risks to the adults, families, and the organisation.
- To be available and accessible to frontline staff and safeguarding colleagues, both within the safeguarding office and within care environments.
