Accountable to the Chief Operating Officer the Deputy Director of Performance and Information will be overseeing all aspects of business intelligence, insight and operational performance.

Overseeing business intelligence and performance functions within the trust responsible for ensuring the organisation robustly monitors achievement of agreed national, regional and local standards.

Supporting directorates and corporate teams to help delivery the Trust Operational Business plan and corporate objectives.

Person Specification



  • Masters Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Information / BI / analytical qualification
  • Professional management training / qualification
  • Significant post qualification experience working at a senior level



  • Knowledge of current NHS performance agenda
  • Significant experience of working at a senior level within a complex organisation
  • Experience of leading and implementing performance, improvement and business intelligence strategies and frameworks within a large organisation


  • NHS senior leadership experience
