Main duties of the job
The Pharmacy Education & Development Team at the Royal Surrey actively seeks to innovate the delivery of training programmes, including developing and launching multi-sector training programmes for both trainee pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. You will work closely with the other members of the Pharmacy Education & Development Team in a supportive environment to further build your skills and develop your expertise in pharmacy education and development. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with stakeholders, both within the trust and regionally, to develop training programmes in line with national requirements, at an exciting time when we are offering cross-sector training programmes for pharmacy trainees with the mental health, general practice and community pharmacy sectors.

Essential
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent plus accredited underpinning knowledge (BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent) as recognised by the GPhC
- Current registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician
- Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (or willing to undertake)
- Educational Supervisor Training (or willing to undertake)
- Evidenced records of commitment to Continuous Professional Development
Desirable
- Recognised, current Medicines Management/ Optimisation Qualification
