An opportunity has arisen for an Applications Developer to work within the Applications Development Team of the Business Intelligence Department at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The role of the Applications Development Team is to provide effective, timely, and viable applications and solutions in line with the Trusts strategic direction in order to enable the effective and safe provision of frontline care services.
Main duties of the job
The Applications Development Team's duties primarily include: providing data warehouse management and maintenance, developing new systems and applications, supporting changes and new functionalities, working alongside other teams to ensure maintenance of SharePoint versions, and creating and maintaining the eForms used across the Trust.
The post holder will work as part of the team to create, manage and maintain the dashboards, eForms, and applications that are used throughout the Trust. Other duties will include completing daily checks to ensure current systems are functioning correctly, and data warehouse maintenance. This post requires someone to work collaboratively with a team, as well as being motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
