The North Ceredigion Primary Care Cluster is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative experienced Clinical Psychologist with excellent clinical and communication skills to join our new multi-disciplinary Chronic Pain team. This is an ideal opportunity to be part of a new and actively developing service where emphasis is on delivering the best possible care for the people of Ceredigion, whilst promoting innovation, research and values based health care in all that we do.

The post is advertised as an 8a. However applicants who do not currently meet the skills and competences for the 8a role, are encouraged to apply and, if successful, will be appointed under annex 21 rules supported by a development plan. Following successful completion and successful attainment of skills and competences for the role the postholder will then be paid at 8a (minimum point on the scale). Excellent support and supervision will be provided in order to develop the practitioner to the 8a banded role. This will be an excellent opportunity for either a psychologist who already has 8a competencies and skills or for a recently qualified psychologist looking for career development.
