Were looking for a Service Manager with a passion for delivering high quality care.

You will be working full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Please note this role does carry the responsibility of on-call duties as and when required in support of the Service.

Cygnet Willow House:

Willow House is a specialist residential service with nursing for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

We also support individuals who have associated mental and physical health needs, as well as those with behaviours that may challenge services. We provide specialist nursing care and support that is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, our Service Managers are responsible for providing strong and effective leadership to the onsite team in order to ensure the integrity of all functions within the service, to include; Clinical, Finance, HR, Recruitment and Support Services. You will be responsible for the overall day to day running and strategic direction of the service.
  • To be compliant with CQC / regulatory requirements and to ensure all clinical, budgetary, regulatory and service development targets are met. You will also implement risk assessment, risk management and embed clinical governance within the service.
  • To be responsible for the provision of a high-quality service, both in respect of client care and employee engagement.
  • Ensure effective bed management and coordination of referrals and assessments of service users in conjunction with the Clinical Team / Deputy Manager.
  • In this role, you will also lead on appropriate investigations (as required), participate in audit requirements and ensure all group policies and procedures are adhered to. Reviewing and developing potential opportunities for improved quality and commercial growth is also a key requirement.

We are looking for someone who is...
  • A qualified Nurse (RNLD or RMN or RGN)
  • Minimum 3 years experience within a Deputy or Service Manager role
  • A talented leader with strong line management & communication skills
  • Experienced within a Learning Disability/Residential setting
  • An effective people, time & task managerwith a proven track record of working with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care.
