We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dynamic physiotherapists to join our physiotherapy team with 9 month rotations covering: MSK Outpatients, Medical, Orthopaedics, Respiratory, Surgical, Care of the elderly.

Main duties of the job

As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you'll have the opportunity to enhance current service delivery and be involved in on-going service developments.

We are looking for someone with experience in supervision and training of others including students and have specialist skills in assessment and therapeutic interventions.

You'll have a strong team work ethic, a sense of accountability accompanied by an ability to work under pressure at times.

In return we will provide the necessary support to ensure your development within the role and support our staff through a clear career pathway and encourage promotional opportunities. This support will occur through a mix of supervisions (clinical and management) provided by a Senior Physiotherapist, personal development plans and the candidates own active participation in supervision and education of others.

Qualifications

Essential

  • *Degree/diploma level education leading to State Registration by the Health Professions Council (UK) as a Physiotherapist
  • *Evidence of relevant post graduate education


Desirable

  • *Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy


Experience

Essential

  • *This post requires a graduate level state registered physiotherapist with relevant respiratory clinical experience and to have covered the three essential core rotations (respiratory, musculo-skeletal and neurology)
  • *Experience of working within acute medicine.
  • *Experience of working in an acute NHS setting.
  • *Experience of managing staff and/or students


Additional Criteria

Essential

  • *Autonomous practitioner with self management skills.
  • *Planning and prioritisation of workload.
  • *Ability to work without supervision in routine treatment and when on-call.
