We have a full time position with Solar, within our Core CAMHS team. The position in Solar provides psychological assessment and interventions to children, young people and young adults accessing the service.

As aclinical/counselling psychologist or equivalent applied psychological practitioner, the role will assist in the delivery of NICE concordant service to children, young people and families within Solar. This will include highly specialist psychological assessments, individual therapy and group work. In addition the role will include the development ofsupervision of psychological therapists and assistant psychologists as well as providing consultation, service development, research and teaching/training as required.

Main duties of the job

There are also opportunities to lead on aspects in the service, as well as ongoing CPD and training.
