Main duties of the job

Programme Design: To deliver and facilitate components of the T-Level. To design, develop and coordinate NHS focussed educational programmes.

Mentorship: To provide information, advice and guidance to students. To support students with setting career goals, overcoming challenges and to reflect on learning.

Collaboration: To work closely with the local schools and colleges. To engage with school aged students at community events to promote NHS career pathways.

Management: To manage the facilitation of student work experience requests.

Must be able to travel across sites and transport resources to external events.

Person Specification



  • * Teaching qualification Cert Ed, DTLLS, PTLLS or equivalent
  • * GCSE English and Maths 4-9 or A-C or equivalent qualifications
  • * Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care


  • * Level 3 Business Admin or equivalent experience
  • * Coaching/Mentoring qualification at level 5 or above



  • * Have significant experience within a clinical setting
  • * Previous teaching/training experience in further education and the NHS
  • * Ability to teach fundamental skills in nursing care
  • * Ability to teach and deliver classroom based learning
  • * Mentoring/coaching
  • * Knowledge of E-learning packages
  • * Sound knowledge of Moodle and resources


  • * Working across a range of education stakeholders
  • * Involvement in community engagement activities
  • * Ability to source, research and collate information /data
  • * Evidence of a methodological approach and effective organisational skills
  • * Working with apprentices and current internal staff
  • * Knowledge of NHS Careers
  • * Knowledge of T-Levels
