Mid Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) on behalf of Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership are looking to recruit a motivated, ambitious, driven Senior Project Facilitator to provide support to our transformation programmes of work.

The candidate will be based within the Trust's community sites, with ability to travel within Central Cheshire for short notice meetings/workshops as required by the project. Working in a fast paced, exciting environment the candidate will work closely with the programme leads and key stakeholders across the organisation/local health economy to implement new collaborative and integrated patient pathways and services.

Main duties of the job

The role involves working closely alongside clinical leads and teams, leading on monitoring project risks and issues, assisting with data collection/analysis, organising and facilitating meetings, with an adaptable and innovative approach to projects.

The ideal candidate will have previous project support experience across both clinical and non-clinical areas. The role would suit a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent IT, presentation and communication skills combined with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders in order to deliver projects.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle work purposes

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a full range of local hospital and community services for people across East Cheshire (population 399K) and West Cheshire and Chester boroughs (population 357K).

Job description

Job responsibilities

  • The post holder will be expected to work autonomously with a portfolio of initiatives, managing their own time and workload with guidance and supervision from peers as and when required.
  • Support the planning and delivery of effective and efficient wider programmes of work in order to drive continuous quality improvement and transformational change, with a leading role in specific initiatives.
  • Initiate projects, using quality improvement methodology from concept through to operational delivery, developing clear/robust plans, analysing data and using robust evidence to demonstrate the effectiveness of improvement.
  • Apply a range of quality improvement methodology in order to develop and understand opportunities and constraints to service delivery.
  • Develop strong collaborative working relationships and wide networks with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of transformation/improvement and/or redesign programmes.
  • Prepare and manage workshops, with an expectation of delivering presentations to varied forums (all levels of forums, including Boards and Steering Groups).

Qualifications

  • -Degree level or equivalent experience within NHS of 5 years or more

  • -Lean practitioner

Experience

  • -Evidence of continued professional (including change management) development/post graduate training
  • - Project management and quality improvement experience within the NHS
  • -Proven experience of creating opportunities through partnership working.

  • -Ability to manage multiple/diverse complex tasks requiring analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple agencies (both public, private, third sector and voluntary sector)
  • -Clear ability to demonstrate people skills, with a focus on listening to understand.
  • -Persuasive and effective communicator and negotiator with highly developed influencing skills.
  • - Ability to prioritise and manage demanding workloads, working to tight and often challenging timescales with an awareness of how to manage own stress (resilience).
  • - Experienced in using MS software


Desirable

  • -Coaching approaches to service improvement.
