This post is for band 6 Physiotherapist to join a team of evening physiotherapists who provide acute respiratory services to a range of patients across RMCH and NICU. The evening service is provided between 7pm and 10pm and is a lone service although support can be given via the on-call physiotherapist. The majority of your clinical time will be spent within the critical care area however services are offered into cystic fibrosis, neuromuscular (respiratory) and general respiratory specialities.

As a HCPC registered health professional you will have recent clinical experience in ICU and acute respiratory alongside a broad rotational background. You will also have participated in a respiratory on-call service. Experience of working with children and young people is desirable. The physiotherapists work very closely within the multidisciplinary team often caring for patients with complex needs and therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
