As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will work as an autonomous clinician, providing specialist assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction. You will hold supervisory responsibility for others, and take a leadership role in specific projects.
An integral part of this role will be supporting student education within the team. This role includes opportunities for learning, development and research, supported by a robust appraisal and supervision structure based on RCOTs Career Development Framework. About us

The post holder will work within our social care residential homes as below. The post is full time for all 3 homes or part time for Post 1 and Post 2 as identified below. 2. Band 6 Occupational Therapist

For the role/s the post holder will have support from the Activity co-ordinator (1 Activity Coordinator per home) and will be provided with frequent clinical supervision. Although experience in sensory integration is desired, formal recognised training will be provided to support the skill development in this area.
Full MDT attached to the services. The team support individuals who have additional mental or physical health needs and behaviours that may challenge, as well as those who have significant difficulties with social engagement and inclusion.
