We seek a programme manager who has a passion for bringing people together to think creatively about the way in which health and care services are designed and the skills to help deliver change.

The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board works with organisations and individuals from across our region driving an exciting and ambitious portfolio of programmes to make a real difference for people in our communities. We seek a team player with experience of programme management and a real heart for social change to make a difference for babies, children and young people, and people with learning disabilities or neurodiversity.

Main duties of the job

As a senior professional manager working across our partner organisations, the post holder will play a key role in enabling the Starting and Living Well Partnerships to develop and implement their Delivery Plans, specifically driving the delivery of integrated community services for Babies, Children and Young People, Learning Disabilities and Neurodivergence.

You will manage dedicated resources contributing to programme delivery and also work closely with identified project managers and service leads within partner organisations to ensure the Partnership delivers against its commitments. In particular, you will have specific project management responsibilities, often working within tight timescales and competing demands.

This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of new ways of working and cultural change across the partnership. As well as shaping change by designing and implementing new policies and systems the post holder will need to build positive relationships quickly, using their influencing skills to make fundamental changes to the way we work, challenging perception and managing resistance along the way.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
