We are looking for someone to fulfil the position of Deputy Manager of the Community Mental Health Service for Adults (CMHSA). As the Deputy Manager you will play a pivotal role in the delivery and management of mental health services. Working closely with the Operational Manager, you will ensure high quality care, oversee daily operations and lead a team of dedicated multidisciplinary professionals. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative work environment with professional development opportunities.

Main duties of the job

You will include supervision and appraisal for the team, performance including key performance indicators, the recruitment and management of staff and ensuring that people have timely access to our services and receive treatment in line with our pathways. You will need to have excellent relationship building and engagement skills and be capable of managing varied work demands based on the changing needs of the service.Although the main duties of the role are to ensure the operational effectiveness of the team, you will still have the opportunity to involve yourself in direct clinical work, in line with the needs of the service. Youwill have a direct impact on the future of the Island's community based mental health care, operating within a recovery focused organisation to support its future development into the future.
