This is an exciting opportunity for a 3 PA post providing psychiatric care to prisoners detained in HMP Isle of Wight. The post will involve assessing and treating mentally unwell prisoners as well as referring them to hospital when necessary. The post holder will be employed by Southern Health NHS foundation trust although will work with the Practise Plus Group mental health team in the prison. The job involves one day a week attending the prison with the remaining PA for travel and Supporting Professional Activities.
