Post 1 Service Lead - Haringey CAMHs.
CAMHs Service Lead within the London Borough of Haringey. CAMHs in Haringey is facing an exciting and key point in its development embracing the development and delivery of high quality evidenced based treatment models and care pathways to help address the needs of children and young people in Haringey in a responsive and timely manner. The team is committed to an inclusive approach to these changes to get the best and most effective help for the most vulnerable children, and young people in Haringey.
Post 2 Service Lead - Tri Borough Integrated Services The CAMHs Division continued phase of transformation has lead to the development of this post to strengthen both operational and strategic structures for a number of critical and discrete services such as CAMHs Looked After Service, CAMHs Youth Justice and some newly developed service that have expanded and need more dedicated support including our ASD/ Keyworker service, 18-25 Transitions, Under 5's services and expansion of community placed based services, Walk -in clinics.
Both roles would support a range of CAMHs services delivering high quality evidenced based treatment models within their specialism.
Main duties of the job
These roles will have overall management responsibility for operational and service matters within their service lines of accountability and providing strategic and organisational leadership.
These posts are part of local borough CAMHs Senior Leadership Teams and key members of the divisional management group. The post holder will be responsible for the highest standard of care and services for children and young people with mental health problems and their families. The post holder will contribute fully to the operational, management and governance structure within their remit in Haringey this would include boroughs services, Adolescent Outreach Team (AOT), the Service for Children and Adolescents with Neurodisability (SCAN), Mental Health Support Team (MHST) and Community CAMHs.
The multi-disciplinary team consists of highly motivated and skilled professionals with innovative ideas about service development, and the post holder will have an active role in service improvement, strategic development, performance delivery, project management and promoting innovative practice.
Working in partnership with the team managers, admin manager, professional leads, Clinical Lead and Lead Psychiatrist the post holder will support robust leadership of multi-disciplinary clinicians to ensure effective, evidenced based assessment and treatment, equity of access and a culture of continuous quality improvement.

The successful candidate will have experience in a Senior Leadership role and have a good understanding of child mental health and the innovation within the field of CAMHs service models and delivery.
We have been working together in a Partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust for some time, with a single Chair and Chief Executive since 2021 and single Executive Team since 2022. We launched our North London Mental Health Partnership Strategy in May 2023 and in July 2023 our Boards agreed that coming together to create one new Trust is best for our service users, our staff and our local communities. Subject to final approvals, we will be formally established as one new Trust on 1 October 2024.

TheCAMHs Service Lead is a key management role and is responsible for the planning, organisation and delivery of services including the management of staff and budgets. The main aims are to provide timely, efficient, and effective operational service management for their service, ensuring that these services are responsive and innovative.
The post holder will also lead on projects to improve service delivery and patient experience.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the Clinical lead and Medical Lead to develop services in the borough in partnership with commissioners, other statutory agencies, the independent sector, service users and carers. They will ensure the delivery of high-quality care and maximise the use of available resources, meeting financial and other corporate targets.
The post holder will be responsible for a portfolio of community based CAMHs services in Haringey contribute to the strategic management and development of these services across the Borough.
The post holder will provide assurance that robust systems of governance and performance are in place and that high quality client led services are being developed and delivered.
The post holder will work in partnership with the local authority, other Trust and GP Networks as required.
