Calling all registered nurses and operating department practitioners interested in developing their skills within our One Team at Crawley Day Surgery Unit! We have the most dedicated, compassionate and friendly team inviting you to be part of our big family. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner to join us.

The post will be rotational within the unit.

The successful candidate should be interested in developing their skills within perioperative care. You will have the opportunity to develop skills across a wide range of surgical specialities.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will have excellent communication and prioritisation skills. You will be passionate about delivering person-centered and evidence-based care.

Crawley Day Surgery Unit is part of Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Trust which was awarded Outstanding by the CQC and consistently ranked in the top 20% nationally for staff recommending the Trust as a place to work or receive treatment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced or new qualified Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking day surgery team.

There are two ward areas, four theatres and one first stage recovery in the unit, operating Monday - Friday.

We cover the following specialities:
  • Ophthalmology
  • Gynaecology
  • ENT
  • Orthopaedics
  • General
  • Urology
