You must be a person who is capable of leading, inspiring and developing the patient flow and complex discharge workforces to continuously drive standards of patient flow and discharge, ensuring there is a patient centred approach that is safe and effective.

You will provide strategic leadership, vision and direction for Patient Flow. In addition, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the strategy for flow and escalation within the Trust.

You will provide both day to day operational leadership of hospital flow and lead on the implementation of national policy for all issues related to patient flow, ensuring that policies and procedures are developed to deliver effective bed management processes and discharge across the hospital.

Working collaboratively with the Divisional teams, you will provide assurance that robust systems for site and patient flow are in place and that quality patient led services are delivered consistently.

We are looking for an established Operational Manager to work in collaboration with internal and external system partners to deliver the Trust's operational priorities in relation to safe patient placement, timely flow, site management and emergency planning.

Working closely with internal Divisional colleagues and external partners, you will operationally manage acute flow ensuring Trust bed resources are used to maximum efficiency whilst ensuring safety, quality and capacity is delivered.

In conjunction with the Director of Operations, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership support to the clinical site co-ordinator team and lead the implementation of a wide range of initiatives related to safe patient flow and effective discharge and ensure the support and coordination of patient services to the hospital 24/7

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday and On-Call
