Are you an experienced Band 5 scrub nurse looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting new vacancy for a Band 6 scrub practitioner in Orthopaedics. The successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills providing leadership and clinical management advice to the whole multidisciplinary team. You will be expected to assist and deputise for the band 7 in managing the day to day running of the operating theatre.

  • Professional UK registration eg NMC, HCPC

  • Clinical skills appropriate to the relevant specialty
  • Advanced communication skills including complex, sensitive or confidential information in an appropriate manner, also to liaise effectively: to understand and disseminate multifaceted information
  • Able to deliver learning sessions
  • Organisational and ongoing planning skills including own workload and of others in an unpredictable environment


Desirable

  • Highly specialist clinical skills across the relevant specialty
