We are looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to support the service delivery for children & young people with complex needs across Worcestershire. The role aims to deliver OT evidence-based clinical pathways to support improved health outcomes for children with complex conditions. The full-time post will be based at The Beacon Centre in Worcester covering the area of Worcestershire. The post is full time (37.5 hours).
The post holder will bring clinical experience and expertise to the role at an exciting time of supporting the transformation of OT services for children with complex needs. This includes knowledge and skills in evidence-based OT approaches including the provision of specialist equipment. The post holder will form part of the Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Specialist Play Service team working collaboratively with the MDT to deliver service improvement and provide leadership as required.

Main duties of the job
This exciting role involves being a key member of the Children's Occupational Therapy leadership and clinical team helping to shape the physical disability service for OT. You will oversee projects and quality improvement initiatives to design and embed clinical pathways to meet the needs of those with complex physical needs.
You will sit within the community OT team providing specialist assessments, interventions and implementing effective outcome measures including the provision of specialist equipment. You will have responsibility for the clinical leadership of the OT team supporting with clinical supervision, training and embedding clinical pathways.
