As one of a few integrated acute and community Trusts Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust provide a wide range of high quality acute and community services for children and young people. You will be integral to the implementation and delivery the patient safety incident response framework (PSIRF), and ensure improvements, learning and innovation which improve patient safety and patient experience. You will be expected to work to make continuous improvement, ensuring our communities are at the centre of our improvement journey.

Main duties of the job
- Based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
- Core portfolio includes all patient pathways for neonates, children and young people
- Services also provide children's outpatients, Children's Day Unit and Outreach teams
- Site co-ordination with the Heads of Service
- Key relationship with neonatal network, NHSE and BOB ICB sharing best practice for babies, children and young people

Essential
- Extensive experience at Senior Nurse level or equivalent
- Proven experience in development and implementation of corporate and professional strategies
- Registered Children's Nurse
- Relevant Degree or recordable qualification
- Relevant Master's degree or Equivalent
- Leadership qualification
- Evidence of recent on-going development
- Extensive experience at Senior Nurse level or equivalent in Paediatrics
- Proven experience in the implementation and monitoring of quality measurement and improvement tools
- Demonstrable experience of improving patient experience for children and young people in a range of settings
- Experience of chairing meetings and managing diverse attendance and contributions
