An opportunity is available to join our Employee Relations Team. This post is within our Family Health Division .

As a People Advisor you will act as the first point of contact and work closely with Divisions and departments to provide effective front line HR advice and support service to managers and employees and support divisional strategies and workforce plans.

You will be expected to advise on a wide range of HR matters including sickness absence management and wellbeing support, capability, workforce change and organisational development.

Reporting into the Assistant People Business Partner you will work as part of a small dedicated divisional team as well as having the opportunity to contribute to wider HR initiatives and projects.

Main duties of the job

Training & Qualifications

Essential

  • HR and Employment Law knowledge to degree level, acquired through training and experience
  • Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)


Desirable

  • CIPD qualification


Experience

Essential

  • Proven recent experience within a Human Resources advisory role, including advising on terms and conditions of employment.
  • Understanding of key employment legislation - existing and prospective
  • Practical experience supporting managers dealing with employee relations matters including disciplinary and grievance issues, and managing sickness absence,


Desirable

  • Experience of working in a healthcare/ NHS envorinment.
  • Experience of working in a large complex organisation
