This post is part of a successful, well-established, specialist service in Tower Hamlets CAMHS for young people and their families. It is a community-based post, located within the innovative Tower Hamlets CAMHS Front-Door-Service. As part of this team, the post holder will serve as a first point of contact for families and young people - essentially offering initial assessment and brief interventions.
The post holder will also be working in the Emotional and Behavioural team (EB2) in Tower Hamlets CAMHS, offering evidence-based treatment for a wide range of mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma and emotional and behavioural problems.
Main duties of the job
The post also offers great opportunities to develop skills in working with young people with neurodevelopmental conditions such as ASD and ADHD - and potentially with cases in our Bipolar and Psychosis team.
The post holder will be expected to directly contribute to the positive working environment within the Front-Door, EB2 and wider CAMHS service. They will join regular multi-disciplinary team meetings and assist with managing patient self-referrals and offering evidence based interventions. The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management, and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit.

Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive - so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.
