An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, experienced Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to join the Newport Community Resource Team based at St Woolos Hospital.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

You will join a highly experienced team of integrated OT practitioners who are committed to delivering a high quality service to individuals in their own homes and along with their Newport City Council Community OT colleagues have a passion to share and develop knowledge and skills in this area. Collaboration with Community Hospital wards will also be included within the discharge element of the role.

  • Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy
  • State Registered Occupational Therapist (HPC)


  • Active participation in relevant interest group



  • Broad Range of post graduate clinical experience
  • Experience in working independently


  • Experience of having participated in on-call and weekend duties where appropriate
