Are you passionate about delivering high quality therapy services to older people living with frailty? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive Frailty Therapy Team. We would also consider a developmental role for a band 5 Occupational Therapist with the right skills and experience. There will also be an opportunity to join a Band 6 rotation through other departments in the hospital which may include: Acute Medicine and Surgery, Stroke and the Older Person's Assessment and Liaison Team (OPAL).

This is a really exciting time for our team as we will be expanding our services across the Older Person's wards with the opening, in Spring 2024, of our exemplar ward which will set new standards in health care for older people. Full information on our brand new ward can be found: https://www.salisbury.nhs.uk/working-for-team-salisbury/join-our-new-imber-ward/

The Trust has also recently opened an Acute Frailty Unit (AFU) which delivers rapid assessment, diagnosis and treatment to acutely unwell patients in line with Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC).

The successful applicant will become an integral part of a kind, friendly and hardworking team and will join our senior leadership team to help to lead, design and develop the service of the future.
