The Urology directorate at North Cumbria Integrated Care are due to open a Urology Investigations Unit (UIU) at Cumberland Infirmary early 2025. As a result of this, the team are expanding and we are looking for 2 enthusiastic registered nurses to support in running and leading on the day to day functions of the UIU.
This is an exciting new role within the organisation, with the opportunity to work as part of a team who are keen to develop the service and improve the way we deliver urology care to our patients through the new facilities within the UIU. You will be working under the supervision of the senior clinical nurse specialist team, and there will be ample opportunity to develop skills and progress in a urology nursing career.

The registered nurse within the Urology Investigations Unit / OPD department will be responsible for the provision of specialist knowledge and the efficient running of the day to day urology outpatient activities.

- Be responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of specific urology care, treatments and diagnostics.
- Be an integral member of the Urology team delivering nursing care within the Urology specialty.
