Resilience Manager Band 7 - 37.5 hours - CIC
Looking for a career in Health Emergency Planning in a beautiful part of the country- then this may be the post for you. This is a pivotal role in the North Cumbria Integrated Trust, working closely with our Clinical teams and support services across North Cumbria and working closely with specialist colleagues in Cumbria and the North East Region. Cumbria offers a diverse range of opportunities for exposure to different element of emergency planning including nuclear preparedness. The post holder will work in a small team and will be central to the delivery of the Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response (EPRR) core standards.
Main duties of the job
The Post holder will provide professional support and advice on all aspects of EPRR and ensure the trust fulfils its obligations in relation to The Civil Contingency Act (2004) and the NHS EPRR Annual Core Standards.
The position is a corporate function and report indirectly to the Chief Operating Officer who is the Accountable Emergency Officer and Directly to the Head of Corporate resilience and safety.
There are five elements to the role: Planning, Training, Exercising, monitoring/Audit and incident response and support.
