37.5 Hours per week Are you a looking for a challenge as a Band 6 Sister/ Charge Nurse Do you want to develop your knowledge and experience in leading a busy and rewarding environment? If so, we are looking for a self-motivated individual to work with us to continue to develop Ward 36. Ward 36 is a busy Trauma, Major Trauma and Orthopaedic unit, caring for a range of patients with Orthopaedic injuries. Ward 36 is a busy and rewarding environment to work in. You will be working alongside and supported by the Matron, Ward manager, Ward sister/charge nurse and a full complement of registered NHS Nurse Practitioners, NHS registered Nurses, NHS Health Care Assistants and ward administration support, who all work together to enhance patient care and experience. The role requires you to be flexible, resilient and forward thinking.

Main duties of the job

This post requires skills including having the right strengths and being a positive motivator. You will work with a team of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Trauma Specialist Nurse, Major Trauma Coordinator, Nurse Practitioners and Dieticians working together to enhance patient care and experience.
