Main duties of the job
The Surgical ACP team are delighted to offer this opportunity within the department for a secondment to work alongside the team to support maternity leave.
Successful applicants will have the chance to learn from the specialist teams within the department including Acute Surgery, Hepatobiliary, Upper GI, Urology, Head and Neck and Colorectal and be able to offer their own experience to the department.
The primary focus of the role will be to support the ward based medical teams, assessing patients, performing investigations and working as the link role between the medical, nursing and AHP teams for the patients under their care.
This role is open to any qualified health professional (either nursing or AHP) with experience working in a ward based environment who is looking to enhance their clinical knowledge or looking for experience prior to undertaking an ACP training program within the trust.
