The musculoskeletal physiotherapy service operates from three locality sites within Brighton, Hove and Haywards Heath. Offering rehabilitation services to local populations rich in cultural diversity, we are committed to delivering a service that is relevant to the communities we serve and strive to promote opportunity for all.
Main duties of the job
This post will be based at one of our UHST Brighton sites. Flexibility may be required to work across other UHST sites should future service developments require this.
The post holder will carry their own clinical caseload and be responsible for governance and supervision within the department. They will work with the service lead to drive service development and redesign projects, as well as maintaining high clinical standards within the team.
The service is committed to professional development and post graduate education facilitated through an established appraisal, mentoring scheme and in-service training programme. We offer a supportive learning environment with the opportunity to work closely with advanced practitioners.
The post would include participation in the orthopaedic weekend rota - following completion of appropriate training.
We have a strong flexible working ethic and have a number of posts available. Full, part time or fixed term will be considered, plus the opportunity to register on our physiotherapy bank.

1. To be responsible for the equipment used in carrying out physiotherapyduties, and to adhere to departmental equipment policy and ClinicalNegligence Scheme for Trusts CNST) standard. To ensure the safe use ofequipment and reporting of faults by self and others including patients, carers and other health professionals2.
