An exciting opportunity has arisen to apply for the post of team leader in the Bassetlaw integrated team which comprises of the Community Mental Health Team, the Intensive Home Treatment Team and the Demetria Outreach Service for the Bassetlaw locality.
The integrated team provides comprehensive mental health assessment and treatment for older adults in the Bassetlaw area. The team leader will be expected to manage the staff within the service providing supervision and clinical support with complex cases and will work closely with the Service Manager in ensuring safe, effective and timely mental health care the older population.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual for this role they will need to demonstrate the required level of experience knowledge and skills working within secondary care services with experience in older people being of benefit. The post holder will be able to demonstrate good leadership skills and the ability to from positive working relationships.
In return we will support and facilitate your development in this role through clinical and managerial supervision and yearly appraisals which will include a personal development plan tailored to your needs.
You must have an RMN, OT or social work qualification with a professional registration. A car driver is essential

- Professional clinical Qualification plus further specialist knowledge/post registration experience to diploma / degree level or equivalent knowledge and skills in mental health underpinned by theory or other formal training.
- Maintain current registration with the NMC / HPCP or other governing body and adheres to the code of professional practice. Demonstrates continuing Professional Development within their specialism.
