An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our innovative, progressive and dynamic team. As a Band 5- 6 development Physiotherapist you will play a key role in the provision of high quality physiotherapy services. Offering a wide variety of clinical experience with the Rapid Response Team including Acute Respiratory Virtual Ward.
On successful evidenced completion of the competency framework the post holder will transfer to a band 6 physiotherapy position within the service.
You will be guided and well supported by senior and clinically specialised staff, engaging in regular supervision, objectives and appraisals to enhance your personal and professional development.
As a Band 5- 6 Physiotherapist you will be required to take part in delivering a quality Physiotherapy Service in balance with working clinically alongside Consultants and other members of the Multidisciplinary Team. You will need to be enthusiastic, forward thinking and have a problem solving approach to patient management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support other team members is essential.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the provision of Physiotherapy assessment, intervention and discharge planning of patients with multiple and sometimes complex diagnoses. You will also work collaboratively with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in order to provide a holistic patient centred service, working towards shared goals and a safe and timely discharge from the service.
The post holder will be expected to work 37.5hrs over 7 days covering 8am -8pm including weekend and bank holidays.
You will be required to have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car.
