Following recent investment, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join and lead our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team at East Cheshire NHS Trust.
The team provide pulmonary rehabilitation to patients via a mixture of face to face classes within community settings across East Cheshire and home 1:1 support. We are looking to expand our offer to include digital solutions to enable more people to access and benefit from the service.
We are looking for an experienced professional with excellent clinical and operational leadership skills who has experience in change management and quality improvement, who has a sense of accountability and a positive approach to teamwork to drive the team forwards as it strives to achieve NRAP Accreditation.
Hours per week: 37.5
Main duties of the job
To lead, manage and have both operational and clinical responsibility within the specialist area supporting the operational delivery, planning, co-ordination, and evaluation of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation service provided, including leading on service development initiatives. To work with the Care Community Coach in the line management responsibility for both human and financial resources of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team.
3. To ensure that the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service is safe, caring, effective, responsive and well led with responsibility for implementing and monitoring adherence to agreed policies, protocols and clinical standards and ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of a high-quality service within the agreed clinical governance framework.
4. To represent East Cheshire Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service at regional and national meetings.
5. To lead on the accreditation of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service.
