An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to lead our Contracting and CDS (commissioning data set) team at Nottingham University Hospitals. Working for one of the largest NHS acute Trusts in the country you will be involved in a wide range of activity information-based analysis, reporting and processing.
This specialist role will involve using your expert knowledge and skills on how activity is captured and flows within the Trust. You will lead on the processes driving our data production for local commissioning purposes and national submissions. You will have knowledge of complex NHS data standards and their implementation and apply your knowledge on an everyday basis to a variety of problems and queries.
Main duties of the job
The team are critical to the replacement of our current contract assignment and CDS production solution due to the new EPR procurement and this role will be a rare opportunity to lead the team through this programme of change.
At a technical level you will be using our industry standard Microsoft SQL databases and maintaining processes and developing reports using a variety of tools including our state-of-the-art QlikSense reporting tool.
The team are also involved in a wide range of Trust-wide projects, and national developments/requirements, and you will need excellent communication skills to work with colleagues at all levels of the organisation as well as external and national organisations. You will have the ability to translate between complex system processes and standards and requirements/queries from non-information professionals.
