East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust are looking for two Operational Lead Radiographers for Radiotherapy to provide strong clinical and operational leadership and work together to move our service forward. One is based at Colchester, the other at Ipswich.
To realise the full potential of an integrated radiotherapy service, the Trust is looking for dynamic and forward thinking HCPC registered Therapeutic Radiographers who have recent clinical management experience, to work closely with the Deputy Heads of Radiotherapy Services in driving forward service development and integration.
The service is staffed by multi-professional teams of clinical oncologists, therapeutic radiographers, clinical scientists, dosimetrists and engineers. The holistic needs of patients are met by nursing staff and Macmillan radiographers.
You will play an integral part in the development and implementation of new technology and new services. We are currently commissioning a Halcyon and an Ethos and are working towards full integration and alignment of clinical protocols, patient pathways and services across both sites.
We encourage our staff to further their personal and professional development. You will be supported in internal and external training and courses including the trust's leadership programme.
Please see the attached document for more information about our Radiotherapy Service.
