This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic registered Health Professional to join our leadership team within our West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre services. The successful candidate will provide proactive professional and clinical leadership across our rehabilitation services, demonstrating positive leadership and resilience through their behaviour and role modelling. Main duties of the job
This role will work closely with the Divisional Director of Nursing & Therapies together with the Professional Leads to develop the strategic overview for continuing quality improvement, providing leadership and clinical support to Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Orthotists, Prosthetists, Nursing, Rehabilitation Engineers and Healthcare Scientists.
The development and monitoring of new clinical initiatives to improve service outcomes for patients will be paramount to ensure robust plans are in place to monitor quality and enhance our patient experience in line with national, regional, and local quality performance indicators. Your support to embed our ISO13485 Quality Management System in daily practice will ensure delivery of continuous improvements within equipment services.
Leading research, innovation and development of clinical services and medical devices is engrained into the daily operation of WMRC. We have a flourishing training centre for healthcare science as well as delivering training for AHP and medical students. We believe that this ongoing investment into innovation and staff training provide continual improvement for patient outcomes and staff wellbeing.
Effective communication skills are essential within this role to enable cohesive working relationships with key stakeholders across the Division, throughout the Trust and the wider Integrated Care System.
