An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative OT to lead and develop school based OT traded services in the City of London and Hackney. This post provides a unique opportunity for an OT with significant experience of working with children and young people, to promote and grow OT partnerships between health and education. The post holder will also be expected to partner with children , young people and families in the co-design and impact measurement. This is a role to develop the school based service, promote and deliver with the hope that it becomes financially self sustainable.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and diverse team, based in the heart of Hackney, at Hackney Ark Child Development Centre. The OT service has been commissioned to address the health and social care needs of children and young people and has history of championing non-traditional roles to meet the varying occupational needs of children and young people across the Borough. We are looking for an OT who can further develop service growth and innovative working. This role will require the successful candidate to promote the provision of high quality, evidence based occupational therapy services, which will promote the function, skills and participation of children and young people in Hackney.
