Main duties of the job
? Lead with Vision: Provide specialist OD advice and interventions to support Integrated Clinical Networks and corporate Directorates, ensuring the delivery of strategic objectives and cultural change initiatives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership and Management of the Organisational Development Service:
- Inspire and Lead: As part of the Workforce and OD Senior Leadership Team, provide strong, visible leadership to maximize individual contributions and meet development needs.
- Performance Excellence: Oversee core business and projects, ensuring the OD service delivers proactive and effective support to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Foster effective working relationships within teams and with internal partners, demonstrating leadership behaviors that align with Trust values.
- Innovative Strategies: Lead on workforce strategies, including inclusive recruitment and effective retention strategies to support a thriving workforce.
- Wellbeing Focus: Develop bespoke wellbeing strategies for Networks to support staff in achieving their best.
- Capability Building: Design and deliver leadership and management development training to enhance team performance and foster an integrated approach to OD.
- Talent Management: Implement a talent management and succession planning approach to identify and develop talent at all levels.
- Engagement Programmes: Ensure the Trusts team Engagement Programme is embedded and insights from staff surveys are used to enhance engagement levels.
- Health and Wellbeing: Lead the development of the Trusts Staff Health and Wellbeing Strategy, promoting an inclusive and supportive culture.

- High level of general education to masters level in OD or equivalent experience.
- Evidence of CPD within the last 2 years
- Member status of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or equivalent professional, accredited. recognised body
- Accredited Coach qualification

- Substantial experience gained in a progressive HR/OD function.
- An understanding of the strategic approach to Workforce Development
- Detailed understanding of the principles of change management and ability to demonstrate a successful track record of organisational change.
- Substantial experience of effectively working at management level in the field of learning and organisational development for an organisation of relevant scale and complexity.
- Evidence of success in leading and implementing transformational change within a large and complex division, including service and workforce redesign.
- Substantial experience of delivering strategic objectives for a diverse and complex Department
- Substantial experience and evidence of successful learning and Organisational Development initiatives to deliver Trust goals and objectives
- Demonstrable experience in managing budgets and departmental resources
- Demonstrable success in building, leading, motivating and developing multi-disciplinary teams and as a highly effective people manager
