Locality Lead Nurse
As a Locality Lead Nurse, you will provide leadership, management and support for a team of District Nurses and Community Nurses, who provide care to Patients in their own homes in conjunction with primary, social and acute providers. You will be instrumental in the maintenance and provision of high quality community services and will support the Management team to continually improve and enhance services. You will lead on initiatives, projects and investigations as well as the day to day management of a team Good communication skills and an ability to work without direct supervision are essential for this post.
Main duties of the job
Maintaining Safe Staffing Levels across all District Nursing Teams
Providing clinical oversight of caseloads and complex Patients
Providing supervision and support to all staff
Undertaking 1:1s, Annual appraisals and clinical supervision
Sickness monitoring and staging
Contributing to recruitment and retention
Leading investigations and disciplinaries
Responding to concerns and complaints
Providing reports and analysing data
Providing cover for all teams in the absence of the other Locality Lead Nurses
Attending and Leading Meetings
Supporting managers with the continual improvement by being involved with service changes and initiatives

- Experience of incident and complaint investigation including the development of comprehensive reports and action plans.
