You will use your highly specialist knowledge to lead on the safe care of patients receiving enteral tube feeding. You will lead and promote excellent nursing practice with regard to nutrition and cancer patients. You will use your professional and clinical skills to act as a resource and advocate for patients receiving nutrition support.
You will support the co-ordination of nutritional care during the patient's cancer treatment at CCC.
You will play a key role as part of the wider MDT in the development and co-ordination of nutrition services with the aim of optimizing patient care.
Main duties of the job
Leading on development and management of Nutrition Nurse service at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre
You will working alongside the Associate Clinical Nutrition Nurse Specialist to deliver support/clinical care to Clatterbridge Patients requiring Enteral Feeding during their treatment.

Education/Qualifications
Essential
- Registered General Nurse
- Degree in healthcare related subject or relevant experience
- Evidence of Masters level learning.
- Post-basic qualification in cancer/palliative care or relevant specialist subject.
- Advanced Communications Skills training or prepared to work towards.
- Recognised Leadership qualification
Desirable
- Psychological skills training- Level 2 Advanced
- MSc Clinical Examination and Diagnostics
- Msc Research qualification
- Member of NNG
- Non-Medical Prescribing
- Level 7 Qualification in cancer/palliative care or relevant clinical subject
