We are recruiting an Estates Net Zero Delivery Manager to join our Sustainability Team at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospital's NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an incredibly exciting time to join the trust following the commitment by our executive team being the first NHS trust to declare a climate emergency. The post holder will lead a specialised team of sustainability engineers to develop and deliver a multiyear plan, meeting the ambitions of the trusts net zero targets. The organisation's commitment reflects growing evidence of the negative health impacts of climate change and air pollution and is recognition that it is not enough for the NHS to treat the problems caused by air pollution and climate change - from asthma to heart attacks and strokes - it needs to play a part in tackling them at source. This builds on the existing sustainability & Net Zero commitments in the NHS Long Term Plan.
