An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Surrey Adult Eating Disorders Service for a highly motivated and experienced individual to transform the intensive community provision for adults with eating disorders. As a highly motivated clinician with proven leadership skills, you will be required to operationally manage the Daycare service and develop a new intensive outreach pathway, working closely with your teams, and liaising regularly with the other eating disorders Service Managers in CEDS, AEDS and AEDimhs (Children Eating Disorders Services, Adults Eating Disorders Services and Adults Eating Disorders Integrated Mental Health Services). You will be working with clinicians across two sites in Guildford and Epsom, supporting adults who are living in the community and are suffering with an eating disorder.
Main duties of the job
You will be ready to support the service with its expected exciting transformation throughout 2024/25 and supporting staff through this clinical change, involving them in this work, supporting improvements in both quality and performance indicators. You will need to be confident in your leadership ability and organisational skills and be able to work well in a sometimes clinically pressurised but very rewarding environment.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining good day-to-day clinical structures and maintaining close operational oversight, with colleagues and senior leads within AEDS and the wider system. You will be linking regularly with the Associate Director all-age and attending necessary local and national forums to support the continued development of all-age service delivery and quality standards.
